Bi-annual event during pair years, taking place
in July at different city scenarios. Shows consecrated
national artists plastic work and also new values
allowing for getting a glance at new national
plastic techniques arising.
Bogotá Modern Art Museum in cooperation
with the Mayor of Bogotá District Culture
and Tourism Institute and with the participation
of the Ministry of Culture, Organizes the Bi-annual
event from 1988. Work bourses are awarded projects
invited to participate in the Bi-annual event.
Projects of social impact and not limited to individual
practice are invited. A group of curators determines
each Bi-annual event focus. Photographers, sociologists,
art historians, artists and curators simultaneously
conduct Art lectures and other disciplines programs.
Takes place every two odd years. Organized District
Culture and Tourism Institue and the Ministry
of Culture.
Takes place every three years. Works remain exposed
for 120 months. Gathers artists over 35 years
old and over ten years experience.
Initially projected every two years to gather
artists less than 35 years old from all over the
country.
Academic excellence prize awarded best graduation
works from the six plastic arts academies of the
city.
Calling artists from different localities of the
city takes place every two years.
Minuto de Dios Contemporaneous Art Museum holds
this national artists meeting.
