This festival, one of the most famous of the world
is an event taking place on even years on dates
pending definition between the months of March
and April, attended by theatre groups from the
five continents. Theatres, plazas, parks and streets
become theatre, street theatre, dance groups,
music and dancing shows scenarios.

Between January and February in Bogotá
the bullfighting season at Santamaría bullfighting
rind where every Sunday bulls are fought by national
and international bullfighting personalities.

From 1997 and to commemorate the foundation of
Bogotá on August 6, for several days different
type of cultural, sports and recreational events
take place, programmed for different city sites
and Simón Bolívar Metropolitan Park.
Most activities and shows are free.

To celebrate traditional mothers month, concerts
are given at different scenarios, for instance

in different parts of the city, offering old things
and some antiques. On Saturdays at Center 93 and
on Sundays at Usaquén (streets above the
plaza) at carrera 7th and calle 24, and at calle
114 and carrera 9a on NQS Avenue..
