The most heterogeneous sector of Bogotá, gathering
industrial, residential, commercial journalistic, airport,
sports, recreational and cultural conglomerates activating
the area provided numerous access ways. The two large
western parks are the most interesting places in the
sector: Simón Bolívar park, the most modern
of the country and El Salitre, housing a sports coliseum
sitting 25,000 thousand people, the Children Museum
and José Celestino Mutis Botanical Garden.
West of the city the free zone, Corabastos market,
CORFERIAS Exhibition Fair facilities and National
University campus are located. Other interesting places
in the area are Quinta de Fucha, the Flag Plaza at
Ciudad Kennedy, International El Dorado Airport and
the Transportation Terminal.
