PEDRO A. LÓPEZ BUILDING
Avenida Jiménez No. 7-91
One of the best Bogotá architecture modernization samples from the fist half of the XX century: “...screwed steel structure lined with concrete, applying North American regulations of the time...”. and one of the most spacious buildings constructed. It was said that “... the solemn weight of the four floors is perhaps due to the fact that it resembles a New York skyscraper base, which upper floors were never built...” Now property of the Nation.

The building was constructed in the place occupied by a very old house under North American architect Roberto Farrington’s orders. Sobriety contrasts current Banco Cafetero, Ministry of Agriculture offices and La Giralda Café Restaurant place San Francisco Palace baroque façade.
